About Us

In December 1999 Mike began making slate switch plates in a small shed at our home in Guilford, Vermont.  While Mike spends his days hand cutting plate covers, I work in the home office taking phone calls, answering emails, and packing orders...among many other things.  Over the years we have literally saved tons of slate from going to the landfill; instead it has become unique, beautiful, GREEN works of art in thousands of homes and businesses around the world.
