Vermont Slate Art Switchplates

PLEASE READ ABOUT COLORS:

COLORS AVAILABLE:
Vermont Gray-A dark battleship gray-some pieces may have a bit of natural gray to black veins running through it
Antique Gray-A lighter gray slate with some color variations from piece to piece, occasional small brown flecks
Antique Muted-A mix of muted browns, grays and olive greens-a multi-colored slate

Colors are available in new slate such as Vermont Gray.  Some pieces may have a bit of natural gray to black veining (see pictures below).  We also craft from weathered (antique) roof slate so our stock of colors is often changing.  Color consistency varies more when using weathered slate as you can see in the pictures below.  Any lines on the Antique Slate are naturally occuring marks due to the weathering process where one piece of slate lays atop another.  IF you do not want ANY lines please let us know.  We invite sample pieces or digital photos of the colors, textures or materials YOU are working with so we can make the best match.  OR please describe your color scheme so we can make a match-



ALL plates are CUSTOM MADE-please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
All plates are finished off with a satin lacquer to protect from fingerprints and stains.

The slate is about 3/16 - 1/4" in thickness

We route out the back where the slate may come in contact with hardware in order to prevent the plate from rocking and so it sits flush on the wall-see above pic
